What’s Global Development Informatics Laboratory

The Global Development Informatics Laboratory is collaborating with Exeo Group, one of the leading companies in Japan in the construction of communications and urban infrastructure, to develop research and education that makes the most of the strengths of industry-academia collaboration. Specifically, we utilize the latest DX technologies, such as image processing and AI, to develop new methods for urban infrastructure construction using underground spaces and to address various issues related to the extraction and utilization of mineral and energy resources. We also aim to promote overseas transfer of technology and contribute to the expansion of social infrastructure and the realization of a sustainable society from the global perspectives.
